The Auxiliary to Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 309, honored past presidents and charter members at the regular meeting in the Eagles Lodge, 1803 W. 6th St.
The session Monday night was attended by 60 women including several out-of-town guests. Among theme were Estelle Cobb of Leavenworth, national grand madame trustee; Marcella James of Leavenworth, madame state conductor; Hazel Temple of Great Bend, junior past state president; June Rockwell of Salina and Clara Eggleston of Topeka, past state presidents. Corsages were presented to them and the local past presidents. Roses were presented to charter members.
The Auxiliary also honored its 12-year secretary Kathryn Hahn with the presentation of a gift.
The meeting was followed by games, under the direction of entertainment chairman, Bett Burchett. Refreshments were served by a committee composed of Cecil Herschell, Viola Hadl and Wyona Brown.
At the next meeting, Oct. 2, members who have birthdays in July, August and September will be recognized and there will be initiation.
